Tea Tree

Tea Tree- AroMeds Melaleuca alternifolia is organically grown and the leaves are steam distilled in Australia. It is a member of the myrtaceae plant family, and has a medicinal, camphorous, pungent, spicy aroma.

Uses-

  • Tea Tree is widely used for bacterial, viral or fungal infections, as it supports and enhances the immune system.
  • Useful when used for respiratory infections, like sinusitis, coughs, bronchitis and asthma.
  • It is a powerful antimicrobial and antiseptic oil, and I use it cleaning products and hand sanitizers.
  • An effective, multi- purpose skin care oil. When addressing fungal infections like athletes foot, combine with other antifungal oils like Geranium and Palmarosa, using aloe vera gel as a base. Can be used for oily conditions like acne, cold sores, insect bites, warts and dandruff.
