Ravensara

Ravensara- AroMed's Ravensara aromatica is ethically grown and free of pesticides and herbacides so often found in commonly sold essential oils. The plants are grown in Madagascar and leaves are steam distilled. The aroma is camphoraceous and woody, with a hint of spice.

Uses-

  • Highly antiviral, when blended with carriers like tamanu or aloe vera, can be helpful when dealing with shingles, herpes and cold sores.
  • Also immune system stimulating, antiseptic and antibacterial, it is a great addition to blends that address mucus, cold, flu, bronchitis and coughs.
  • Its muscle relaxant and analgesic qualities make it useful when addressing joint and muscle aches and tension.

Ravensara should always be diluted at no more that 1 drop per 5 mL of carrier. It blends well - with balsam fir, black pepper, black spruce, cedarwood, cpress, eucalyptus, gingergrass,  lavender, spike lavender, lemon, niaouli, sweet marjoram, orange, peppermint, rosemary, tea tree, thyme ct thymol
