Niaouli - AroMed's Melaleuca quinquenervia ct 1,8 cineole is organically grown and the leaves are steam distilled in Madagascar. It is the myrtaceae plant family and has a strong, fresh, sweet, camphoraceous aroma, somewhat similar to eucalyptus.

Safety data- The 1,8 cineole chemotype of niaouli is not to be used on children. The chemical constituent can destabilize a child's nervous system, causing breathing irregularities. Skin sensitization is possible if using old and/or oxidized oils. Essential Oils are typically used via inhalation and/or topical application while properly diluted. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner to address a specific health need, for a specified period of time. Keep away from children and pets.
