Gingergrass

Gingergrass- AroMeds Cymbopogon martini var. sofia is ethically wild-harvested and the grass is steam distilled in India. It is in the poaceae plant family, is a middle note with a sweet, mildly spicy, earthy, lemony aroma.

Uses-

  • Add to blends to increase circulation and bring warmth to an area. It can be useful in blends to address muscle and joint discomfort.
  • I had a client with persistant stress headaches achieve relief from using gingergrass  in an inhaler, along with lavender.
  • Much like its plant relative, palmarosa, it is both calming yet awakening at the same time. Great to inhale when you need a lift.
  • It can also be a great addition to respiratory blends that include eucalyptus and/or ravintsara as it can be decongesting.

Blends well with- lemon, lavender, palmarosa, ginger, patchouli, eucalyptus, ravintsara
