Cinnamon Bark

Cinnamon Bark- AroMed's Cinnamomum zeylanicum is wild-harvested and the bark is steam distilled in Sri Lanka. It is in the lauraceae plant family, is a base to middle note with a warm, spicy, sweet, comforting aroma.

Uses-

  • Very strong anti-infectious action against viruses, fungus and particularly bacteria!
  • Excellent digestive stimulant, calming spasms, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, dyspepsia and loss of appetite
  • Warming and a great cold weather tonic as it uplifts the spirit, and stimulates circulation while supporting the immune system

Emotional Support - cinnamon bark encourages invigoration, benevolence, strength, energy, confidence, motivation and generosity.

    Blends well with- bergamot, cardamom, clove, frankincense, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, lemon, lemongrass, marjoram, mandarin, orange, patchouli, peppermint, petitgrain, vanilla, ylang ylang

    Modes of Application- direct inhalation, diffuser, steam inhalation, anti-bacterial room spray (not recommended for dermal application because it is reputed to be a potential skin irritant and sensitizer)

    Safety data- Avoid while pregnant and in liver or kidney disease. It is not recommended for use on the skin as it has been reported to be a severe dermal irritant and sensitizer. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner to address a specific health need, for a specified amount of time. Keep away from children and pets.
