Carrot Seed- AroMed's Daucus carota is organically grown in India. The dried seeds are steam distilled. In the umbelliferae or apiaceae plant family, the oil is a middle note and has a dry, warm and mildly sweet, earthy aroma.
Blends well with- bergamot, cedarwood, cinnamon, citrus oils, frankincense, geranium, juniper berry, lavender, rosemary, ylang ylang
Notes of interest- Carrot seed oils aroma is not for everyone. If using for skin care, I recommend blending with other skin nurturing, strongly aromatic oils, like geranium, ylang ylang, frankincense or lavender.
Modes of Application- massage, compress, bath, salve, direct inhalation, diffuser, steam inhalation, skin care
