Black Spruce

Black Spruce- AroMeds Picea mariana is certified organic from Canada, steam distilled from needles and  twigs. The plant is in the pinaceae family, a top/middle note with a fresh, piney, mildly sweet balsam aroma.

Uses-

  • Black spruce is a great addition to respiratory blends and/or decongesting steams as it is both antiseptic and decongesting. It is a safe choice for children, when properly diluted.
  • Its analgesic qualities make it superb in massage blends for aches and pains, or hot bath, mixed with epsom salt, after a rigorous work out.
  • Schnaubelt states, " It has a equilibrating influence on the endocrine system, which is especially useful for hyperthyroidism and adrenal depletion."

Emotional Support - black spruce encourages steadiness, grounding, harmony, compassion, clarity and inner unity.

Blends well with-  cedarwood, clary sage, cypress, eucalyptus, frankincense,  lavender, lemon, palo santo, petitgrain, pine, rose, rosemary
