Essential Oils FAQs

What are essential oils?

Essential oils are natural chemical compounds extracted from plants. Essential oils are obtained through distillation (via steam) or mechanical methods, such as cold pressing.

The oils capture the plant's aroma, flavor and each plant oil has its own unique chemistry and therapeutic benefits, when used appropriately.
