Lemongrass - AroMed's Cymbopogon citratus organically grown and the fresh grass is steam distilled in Western India. It is in the gramineae or poaceae plant family, and is a top note with citrus, fresh, earthy aroma.

Notes of interest- West Indian lemongrass is used in TCM to treat colds, headache, abdominal and rheumatic pain.
Safety data- Skin sensitization is possible if using old and/or oxidized oils. Keep lemongrass in dark bottle in refrigerator when not in use. Essential Oils are typically used via inhalation and/or topical application while properly diluted. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner to address a specific health need, for a specified period of time. Keep away from children and pets.
